BMW has launched the fourth generation of its pioneering X3 SUV, which first hit the market in 2003 as the first premium mid-size SUV. The new X3 models – X3 20 xDrive, X3 20 xDrive M Sport Edition, and X3 M50 xDrive – boast a sportier appearance, upgraded technology features, and increased power. The vehicles have a longer, wider, and lower profile compared to the previous generation.
The new X3 features a sleek interior with advanced technological features including touch and voice control, a 12.3-inch information display, and a 14.9-inch control display to make driving a hassle-free experience. The vehicle is equipped with 48V mild hybrid technology and offers different power options ranging from 190hp to 398hp, with acceleration times from zero to 100 km/h varying from 8.5 seconds to 4.6 seconds.
In terms of design, the X3 maintains BMW’s signature kidney grille and sleek lines with flared wheel arches, a roof spoiler, and side air deflectors. The classic BMW design features are complemented by the BMW Interaction Bar and a modernized interior that surrounds the driver with a futuristic feel.
With enhanced technological features to assist the driver with everything from collision avoidance to parking, the new X3 offers a blend of power, style, and functionality. The new generation of the BMW X3 continues to set the standard for premium mid-size SUVs, carrying forward the legacy of innovation and performance that the brand is known for.
