Former fiancé of Olivia Nuzzi accused of leaking her connections to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Political writer Olivia Nuzzi was granted a civil protective order against her ex-fiancé, Ryan Lizza, after accusing him of harassment and blackmail. Nuzzi had been put on leave from New York Magazine after admitting to a “personal relationship” with fringe presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Nuzzi alleged that Lizza orchestrated a campaign to ruin her reputation following their breakup, including hacking her devices for blackmail material and making threats of physical violence. Lizza denied the allegations, stating that Nuzzi was attempting to deflect attention from her own issues. The protective order prohibits Lizza from contacting Nuzzi until an October 15 hearing. Nuzzi and Lizza were involved in a joint book deal that ended in dispute. Kennedy, known for his anti-vaccine stance and conspiracy theories, dropped out of the presidential race and endorsed Donald Trump in August.
