A Delta flight crash-landed in Toronto, flipping upside down upon landing. Passengers, including Pete Koukov, were left hanging by their seat belts as they were evacuated through the emergency exit onto the tarmac covered in snow. 21 passengers were initially transported to hospitals with relatively minor injuries, with 19 already released as of Tuesday morning. The flight, operated by Endeavor Air, arrived from Minneapolis when the crash occurred. Despite wind gusts and cold weather, it’s unclear what caused the crash. Koukov praised the flight attendants for organizing a quick and orderly evacuation, with passengers able to dismount from the plane within minutes of the crash landing. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada will investigate the incident with help from the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board. Overall, despite the terrifying experience, all passengers and crew managed to safely escape the flipped plane with no fatalities reported.
