Seattle Kraken center Jaden Schwartz led his team to a 4-2 victory over the Los Angeles Kings with a hat trick on Saturday night. Schwartz scored the opening goal just 28 seconds into the game and broke a tie later in the first period. Chandler Stephenson added another goal for Seattle in the second period. Goaltender Joey Daccord made 28 saves, including 17 in the third period, to secure the win for the Kraken. Adrian Kempe and Jordan Spence scored for the Kings, with Darcy Kuemper making 18 saves. The victory improved Seattle’s home record to 20-24-3 this season.

The Kraken were able to hold off a late push from the Kings, with a key save by Daccord on a breakaway chance. Seattle’s defense also played a key role in the win, blocking 22 shots throughout the game. The Kings will look to bounce back when they host Pittsburgh on Monday, while the Kraken will take on Buffalo at home.
