Home Start, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect, recently received a $100,000 donation from the Guild Giving Foundation, a nonprofit under Guild Mortgage Company. The donation was from the proceeds of the annual Guild Giving Charity Golf Tournament held in October. This is the fourth year that Home Start has been chosen as a beneficiary of the event.
The annual charity golf tournament brings together leaders in the mortgage industry to support important causes. The donation will be used to provide vital services to San Diego’s most vulnerable children and families, including housing, parenting education, and therapy.
