Disneyland Resort is hosting its annual Lunar New Year festival, where foodies can embark on an Asian-inspired culinary journey at six festival marketplace booths. The festival celebrates Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese cultures and traditions, running from Jan. 17 to Feb. 16. Food highlights include the Chocolate Firecracker, Pho Dip, Mandarin Orange Cream Puff, Fire Chicken Wings, and Spicy Gochujang Chicken Tacos. The Sip and Savor pass allows visitors to purchase a prepaid card to sample a variety of dishes at the festival.
The Chocolate Firecracker is a must-try, with light mousse and a chocolate ganache filling topped with popping candy. Another standout is the Pho Dip, featuring beef, pickled onions, jalapenos, and a Chinese Five Spice dip. The Mandarin Orange Cream Puff surprises with a tangy Mandarin marmalade filling. The Fire Chicken Wings bring a Korean-style barbecue sauce with a sesame-seaweed crunch. Lastly, the Spicy Gochujang Chicken Tacos offer a unique blend of Korean flavors. Visitors can also enjoy a parade, live music, and Disney character photo ops during the Lunar New Year festivities.
