LA Metro continues to offer free bus and rail service in light of ongoing wildfires – Daily News

County Supervisor Janice Hahn announced that Metro will continue to provide free bus and train rides in Los Angeles County during the ongoing wildfire crisis. The decision was made to ensure residents can safely travel to reunite with loved ones, reach shelters, or deliver essential donations. Metro has developed an interactive map displaying bus and rail routes connecting to fire-related resource centers to provide real-time accuracy to passengers. The Metro A Line has resumed normal services after crews cleared fallen trees and debris between stations. As of 7 p.m. Sunday, all rail lines were operating normally, with two bus lines resuming regular service after a temporary detour. Several bus lines have been canceled or suspended due to fire activity, with detour information available on Metro Los Angeles’ Facebook page, the Transit App, or metro.net. Passengers can also call 323-466-3876 for service information in Spanish and English. For the latest Metro service updates, follow @MetroLAAlerts or visit alerts.metro.net.
