Faithful in Pasadena come together for strength during deadly wildfires – Daily News


Senator Adam Schiff joined the Clergy Community Coalition’s city-wide prayer service at Vintage Church in Pasadena on Jan. 12, 2025. The event aimed to bring healing and restoration to the communities of Altadena and Pasadena affected by the Eaton fire. Over 100 people, including 23 pastors, participated in the prayer service, which featured prayers, chants, and songs from diverse faith traditions. Mental health professionals and shaman healers also offered their services.

The gathering, organized by the Clergy Community Coalition, showcased unity among faiths and groups and emphasized the importance of coming together in times of crisis. Senator Schiff acknowledged the challenges faced by the community members and expressed a commitment to rebuilding. Various churches and ministries, including Fuller Seminary and World Vision, provided aid and support to those affected by the fires.

The Clergy Community Coalition continues to work towards restoration and reconstruction in the aftermath of the devastating wildfires, urging people to keep praying and remain hopeful for a better future.
