Newsom ordered a review to ensure the availability of water supply during emergencies. The Palisades Fire has devastated the area, with at least five casualties. IBEW Local 18 supported Newsom’s call for accountability and criticized the DWP for the reservoir issue. The city has been urged to evaluate DWP leadership. This situation has raised concerns about the city’s response to emergencies and the need for transparency in addressing these issues.
