Australian student Hadi Nazari, 23, was found alive after being missing for almost two weeks while hiking in Kosciuszko National Park. He survived on berries and two muesli bars he found, drinking water from a creek. Police and volunteers carried out an extensive search involving over 300 people. The search intensified after his friends reported him missing when he failed to meet them at a campground. Clues that led to his discovery included trash, hiking poles, a campfire, a camera, and a camera bag found in the area. A hiking group passing by heard him calling for help, leading to his rescue. Despite being lost for almost two weeks, he was in good spirits and in great condition when found. Paramedics assessed him, and his family greeted him with hugs at the search base camp. His good survival instincts and ability to find food in the mountains helped him endure the ordeal. Joshua Dart, a member of the hiking group that found him, recounted the moment they heard him calling for help. Hazari had lost track of time and believed he had been missing for only seven days. The incredible outcome of his survival was met with relief and joy by all involved in the search and rescue operation.
