Their case has gained attention due to a Netflix documentary and new claims of abuse by their father. The incoming Los Angeles district attorney plans to review all evidence in the case. The brothers were initially convicted in 1996, but some evidence of abuse was not considered. The family lawyer insists there are witnesses who were not able to testify about the abuse they saw. The district attorney’s office denies any conflict of interest and invites all victim family members to discuss the case before any decision is made.
