Fashion model dies from drug overdose after being wanted for steroid dealing and bragging about lavish lifestyle

Terrence Murrell, a former model, died from taking drugs in January, according to an inquest. The 36-year-old had a history of drug use and had previously fled to Bali to avoid charges of steroid dealing. Despite his flashy lifestyle on social media, he was eventually extradited to Britain and served a 37-month sentence before being released in 2022. The coroner found that Murrell had no history of deliberate suicidal drug overdose, but had a high tolerance for drugs due to his daily use. His intentions when taking the drugs that led to his death remain unclear. Murrell, who portrayed himself as a “legend” to his 500,000 Instagram followers, had claimed to have sponsorship from a whiskey brand and that Netflix was interested in making a documentary about his life. His death serves as a cautionary tale about the dangers of drug use, even for those who appear to have glamorous lifestyles on social media.
