Humåtak Village to Host Free Holiday Concert by the Bay: First-Ever Event to Feature Headlining Artists from the U.S.
The village of Humåtak on Guam is set to host its first-ever Humåtak Holiday Concert by the Bay on Sunday, December 22nd from noon to 7 p.m. The event is being organized by the Humåtak Mayor’s Office, Humåtak Municipal Planning Council, and residents of Humåtak.
Headlining acoustic artists Eric Rachmany of Rebelution, Kaleo Wassman of Pepper, and Jason Devore of Authority Zero will be performing at the concert as their gift to the people of Guam. Local artists will also be taking the stage, including Jonah Hånom, Bok.Keyz, and Shannon & the Par Timers.
The event will also feature culinary food trucks, live painting by about 20 local artists, and a Live Art Raffle where attendees can purchase tickets for a chance to win original art pieces created during the concert. All proceeds from the event, including the sale of promotional merchandise, drinks, and alcohol, will go towards community projects within the district of Humåtak.
Residents can also make direct donations to the Humåtak Municipal Planning Council at the venue or through a GoFundMe link created by Eric Rachmany. Tickets for the Live Art Raffle can be purchased at the event, with prices ranging from $5 for 1 ticket to $100 for 30 tickets.
The concert aims to raise funds for the historic F.Q. Sanchez School’s programs and projects. Support from the community is encouraged, and attendees are reminded that no outside food or drinks will be permitted to support the fundraising efforts.
