Clippers suffer their third consecutive loss as Nuggets capitalize on errors – Daily News

The Denver Nuggets secured a decisive 120-98 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night, with Jamal Murray leading the way with 20 points in his return from injury. Despite a quiet game from Nikola Jokic, the Nuggets were able to snap a three-game losing streak against the Clippers this season. Michael Porter Jr. contributed 17 points as the Nuggets won consecutive games for the first time in a month. The Clippers, led by James Harden’s 15 points and nine turnovers, struggled to find their rhythm and turned the ball over 19 times in their third consecutive loss. The Nuggets took control in the third quarter with a 14-2 run to establish a 20-point lead. The victory marked the first time the Nuggets held an opponent below 100 points since April.

The Clippers will now look to bounce back as they host the Utah Jazz on Monday before heading out on a three-game road trip.
