Los Angeles Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson is expected to play in Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints, despite missing a week of practice due to a foot injury. Head coach Sean McVay confirmed that Jackson aggravated his foot in last week’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles, but the team opted to hold him out of practice as a precaution to avoid any setbacks.
In addition, tight end Tyler Higbee, who has been recovering from knee and shoulder surgeries, has been making progress in practice and bringing energy to the team, although he will not play against the Saints. Higbee suffered an ACL tear in the playoffs earlier this year, and his return to the field after 10 months of recovery has been a positive development for the Rams.
McVay praised Higbee’s mental and physical toughness, highlighting his importance to the team. With both Jackson and Higbee showing resilience in the face of their injuries, the Rams are looking forward to their upcoming game against the Saints.
