Man suffers life-threatening electric shock while setting up Christmas lights on tree

A worker in Wellesley, Massachusetts, was seriously injured after receiving an electric shock while hanging Christmas lights on a tree. The contractor, a 22-year-old man, was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after the incident occurred around 10 a.m. The man was using a 34-foot pole to string up the lights when it either came close to or touched an electrical line atop a utility pole, causing the shock.
