The 2024 Los Angeles Auto Show is set to open on Nov. 22 and run daily until Dec. 1 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Apart from the car displays, upcoming events in the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles area include the Los Angeles County Parks and Recreation Harvest Festival celebrating National Native American Heritage Month, the Tree Lighting at the Promenade at Westlake, and the Hollywood Christmas Parade. The Great Los Angeles Walk 2024, Topanga Vintage Market, and the Los Angeles Union Station Tree Lighting are also scheduled events.
For museum-goers, several exhibits are on display at various locations including the Grammy Museum, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum, the Petersen Automotive Museum, and the Wende Museum of the Cold War. The Getty Center and Getty Villa both have ongoing special exhibits as well. In terms of music, concerts are planned, such as Mannheim Steamroller Christmas by Chip Davis and Christmas with the 5 Browns.
Theatrical performances include Letters from Cuba at the Los Angeles Mission College Theatre Arts Department and David Minkin’s Magic at the Biltmore Los Angeles. The San Fernando Valley Master Chorale presents Holidays in the Valley – ‘Twas the Night, while the Santa Clarita Valley Concert Band performs a Christmas Music Extravaganza.
For those interested in comedy, Eddie Izzard will be performing The Remix: The First 35 Years show. Additionally, community events, book signings, and charity fundraisers are scheduled in the area. Overall, there is a wide range of entertainment and cultural activities to enjoy in the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles area in the upcoming weeks.
