McDonald’s has announced that its popular McRib sandwich will be making a comeback for the holiday season after previously being marked as a farewell tour for 2022. The boneless pork patty sandwich, slathered in barbecue sauce with slivered onions and pickles on a toasted bun, will be available starting on December 3rd.
Additionally, for the first time, McDonald’s will be selling the McRib sauce in half-gallon jugs under the name “A Whole Lotta McRib Sauce” for $19.99, available online starting on November 25th. The promotion includes a jingle featuring Rankin/Bass-type characters on YouTube.
In addition to the McRib comeback, McDonald’s is also bringing back its Holiday Pie, a custard-filled pastry topped with rainbow sprinkles, which sells for around $1.99. The fast-food giant is also offering holiday cups with Doodles designs for hot McCafe beverages.
McDonald’s prices may vary by location, and more information can be found on their website, mcdonalds.com. Fans of the McRib sandwich will have the opportunity to indulge in the limited-time offer for the holiday season, along with the chance to purchase their signature sauce in a larger half-gallon jug.
