Enchanting Holiday Experience Unveiled at L.A. Zoo Lights: Animals Aglow
Los Angeles, CA – This winter, the Los Angeles Zoo is transforming into a dazzling wonderland with the return of the beloved “L.A. Zoo Lights: Animals Aglow.” This stunning event, presented by The Angela Collier Foundation, opens its gates from November 15, 2024, through January 5, 2025.
Visitors can immerse themselves in an enchanting landscape featuring vibrant lantern sculptures that depict larger-than-life animals and festive holiday scenes. The zoo has created a mesmerising journey through illuminated alpine forests, lush rainforests, and serene rivers, all brought to life with breathtaking light displays.
Tickets for this spectacular event start at just $18, with free parking available. In addition to the light displays, guests can enjoy special features such as photos with Santa, giant holiday ornaments, and festive food and beverages, including wine and spiked hot cocoa on weekends.
Several themed nights will also take place throughout December, enhancing the holiday experience. December 3 marks a Sensory-Inclusive Zoo Lights evening, accommodating guests with sensory-friendly enhancements, while the Holiday Pajama Weekend from December 6-8 invites families to wear their coziest pajamas. On December 11, Pride Night will celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community with special activities, including an all-ages DJ dance party.
The event promises to be a fantastic way for families and friends to celebrate the season together while appreciating the beauty of wildlife in an artistic light display.
