The Los Angeles Clippers celebrated James Harden surpassing Ray Allen for second place on the NBA’s career 3-point list during a game against the Utah Jazz at the Intuit Dome. Harden’s milestone came in the first quarter of the game, which the Clippers ultimately won 116-105 to snap a three-game road skid. Ivica Zubac led the team with 22 points and 11 rebounds, while Harden contributed 20 points, six rebounds, and 11 assists. The Clippers had five players in double figures, including new addition Mo Bamba, who scored nine points in his season debut. Coach Tyronn Lue acknowledged Zubac’s fatigue and gave him some rest time by having Bamba fill in. The Jazz, who were without Walker Kessler, were led by Jordan Clarkson with 21 points and Laurie Markkanen with 18 points and 10 rebounds. The win marked a much-needed victory for the Clippers, who had lost three consecutive road games prior to this matchup.
