Will Dissly has quickly become a key player for the Los Angeles Chargers, excelling not only in his physical blocking but also in the passing game. With career-high numbers in receptions and receiving yards, Dissly has surprised even his offensive coordinator with his connection to quarterback Justin Herbert. Dissly’s versatility from his high school days as a two-way star player and college transition from defensive lineman to tight end has made him a valuable asset for the Chargers. Alongside Herbert, who distributes the ball effectively amongst his teammates, Dissly has been able to shine, showcasing his skills with four catches for 80 yards and a touchdown in a recent game.
In addition to Dissly’s standout performance, rookie receiver Ladd McConkey had a breakout game as well, reaching a career-high 123 yards receiving.
