Disneyland reintroduces the Better Together parade featuring Pixar characters

The Disneyland resort is bringing back the Pixar-themed Better Together parade, featuring characters from newer and classic Pixar films like "Turning Red," "Soul," "Luca," "Toy Story," "Monsters Inc.," and "The Incredibles." The parade includes energetic dancers, themed floats, and a lively soundtrack, creating a fun and entertaining experience for parade-goers.

The parade, which last ran during Pixar Fest at Disney California Adventure, draws elements from the previous Pixar Play Parade that had a decade-long run at the park. The Better Together parade features seven parade units dedicated to different Pixar films, including "Turning Red," "Soul," "Luca," "Up," and "Inside Out." Characters like Russell and Joy from Up and Inside Out, respectively, are featured in the parade alongside popular characters like Woody from Toy Story, Mike and Sully from Monsters, Inc., and Luca and Alberto from Luca.

Auditions will be held for performers who will portray characters like Miriam, Abby, Priya, Jin Lee, and the 4Town boy band from "Turning Red," Joe Gardner from "Soul," and Luxo Jr. roller skaters. The new parade soundtrack includes songs from the films, such as "Nobody Like U" by 4Town from "Turning Red," "It’s Alright" from "Soul," and a 1960s beach movie-style song sung in Italian for "Luca."

Overall, the Better Together parade promises to bring joy and excitement to guests at the Disneyland resort, creating unforgettable memories for fans of Pixar films of all ages.
