Vice President Kamala Harris hosted a rally near Atlanta with former President Barack Obama and Bruce Springsteen. This was the first time Harris and Obama shared the stage this election cycle. Harris thanked Obama for his support and friendship over the years. The decision to have Obama and Harris together is meant to boost voter enthusiasm. Obama’s popularity and track record in winning elections with over 50% of the vote are seen as beneficial. In addition to rallies, Obama plans to do interviews with podcasters and internet personalities who attract Black audiences. Michelle Obama is also expected to campaign with Harris in Michigan. Springsteen, who recently endorsed Harris, performed at the rally along with other celebrities like Spike Lee and Samuel L. Jackson. The rally marks part of Harris’s closing pitch to voters as the election day approaches. Harris is also scheduled to host a event with pop star Beyoncé in Houston.
