LAS VEGAS – The Vegas Golden Knights dominated the Los Angeles Kings in a 6-1 victory on Tuesday night, with Tomas Hertl leading the way with two goals and two assists. The win ended Vegas’ three-game losing streak, all of which occurred during a recent road trip. This victory also kept the Golden Knights unbeaten at home this season.
Warren Foegele scored for the Kings, with goaltender David Rittich making 24 saves. The Kings were playing their seventh consecutive road game due to renovations at Crypto.com Arena.
Vegas took control of the game during a 6:05 stretch in the first period, with their top power-play unit scoring two goals to give them a 3-0 lead. Hertl scored his first goal of the season, followed by a goal from Mark Stone and Pavel Dorofeyev to establish a commanding early lead.
Additional goals from Alexander Holtz and Ivan Brabashev further solidified the Golden Knights’ victory, with goaltender Ilya Samsonov making 31 saves to secure the win for Vegas.
This impressive performance showcased one of Vegas’ best stretches of hockey this season, as they displayed strong teamwork and offensive prowess. The Golden Knights will look to build on this momentum as they continue their quest for success in the NHL.
