The Los Angeles Chargers made several roster moves to bolster their secondary ahead of their game against the Arizona Cardinals. Defensive back Deane Leonard was placed on injured reserve due to a hamstring injury, while cornerbacks Dicaprio Bootle and Shaun Wade were signed to the active roster. The team also activated center Sam Mustipher and wide receiver Jalen Reagor for the game.

With starters Asante Samuel Jr. and Kristian Fulton dealing with injuries, rookies Cam Hart and Tarheeb Still were called upon to step up in their absence. Despite the challenges, the Chargers managed to secure a 23-16 victory over the Denver Broncos in Week 6.

Key players such as Derius Davis, Quentin Johnston, and Hayden Hurst were inactive for the game due to injuries. Meanwhile, outside linebacker Joey Bosa has not been placed on injured reserve but sat out for the third consecutive game.

The Chargers are facing a number of challenges with injuries to key players, but they are making strategic moves to strengthen their roster and prepare for upcoming games. Coach Jesse Minter commended the rookies for stepping up when given the opportunity and expressed confidence in their abilities moving forward. The team is focused on overcoming these obstacles and continuing to compete at a high level as the season progresses.
