Multiple people died as a private helicopter crashed into a radio tower in Houston on Sunday night, sparking a large fire. Police Chief J. Noe Diaz confirmed that four people, including a child, were on board the helicopter at the time of the crash. The Houston Fire Department reported that the incident occurred in the Second Ward neighborhood, with the helicopter hitting a radio tower before the fire broke out. The blaze spread up to three blocks before it was extinguished, and businesses in the area were closed at the time. Fortunately, no injuries were reported on the ground. The helicopter involved in the crash was identified as a Robinson R44, and the identities of the individuals on board have not yet been released. Investigations into the cause of the crash will be carried out by the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration.
