Two men in dark clothing broke into a home in Woodland Hills, stealing an estimated $300,000 worth of property including jewelry, cash, and a safe. The burglary occurred on Dolorosa Street, with the suspects gaining entry by shattering a window. The homeowners were not present at the time of the incident. The LAPD is investigating the burglary and anyone with information is urged to contact the Topanga station or Crime Stoppers. This incident adds to a string of crimes in the area, including hidden cameras found in front yards, theft at Santa Anita Park, a flash-mob robbery at Westfield Topanga Mall, and a smash-and-grab at Nordstrom. The owner of a recycling company in the San Fernando Valley was also accused of receiving stolen metal from cities. Residents are urged to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to authorities.
