Audience members at the town hall asked Musk for help in preventing voter fraud, to which Musk suggested using his social media app X to track votes. Musk has also expressed support for conspiracy theories and made light of serious matters, such as the attempted bombing near the Capitol on January 6, 2021. Despite his conflicting statements and actions, Musk continues to be a prominent figure in the technology and business world, with significant influence on social media and politics.
