Tim Walz, the Democratic vice president nominee, campaigns in Los Angeles and Southern California

Minnesota Governor and Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz made a stop in Los Angeles to mark the one-year anniversary of the deadly Hamas attack on Israel. He visited the Nova Music Festival Exhibition in Culver City and condemned the terrorist organization for the massacre of innocent people. Walz expressed solidarity with Israel and the American Jewish community, calling for the release of hostages held by Hamas.

During his visit, Walz was guided through an interactive exhibit by survivors of the Nova Festival attack. He did not communicate with reporters during his tour but did appear emotional as he viewed memorials for the victims. Afterward, he taped digital content at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and is scheduled to appear on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” later in the day.

Walz’s visit to California is part of a larger campaign effort with Vice President Kamala Harris to defeat former President Donald Trump and his running mate, Ohio Senator JD Vance, in the upcoming election. Both Harris and Walz have been actively engaging in media appearances, seeking to connect with voters in the final stretch of the campaign.

The visit also included stops in San Diego and Montecito, where Walz spoke at fundraising events and addressed a variety of issues, including the recent conflict between Israel and Iran. He defended his stance on abortion rights and criticized Trump’s position on the issue. As the campaign intensifies, both parties are ramping up their efforts to secure victory on Election Day.
