Two Los Angeles men were arrested on Monday, September 30, for their involvement in more than 30 burglaries of businesses across San Bernardino, Riverside, and Los Angeles counties. The suspects were charged with burglary, conspiracy, and committing a felony while on bail following a string of burglaries that began in August.
The arrests came after deputies responded to a burglary at a business in Bloomington, where security footage showed the suspects stealing lottery tickets, alcohol, and cigarettes before fleeing in a gray Tesla. The same suspects were linked to other burglaries in Bloomington, Victor Valley, Chino Hills, Rancho Cucamonga, Highland, Colton, Ontario, as well as in cities in Riverside and Los Angeles counties.
Investigators searched three homes linked to the suspects and found tools believed to have been used in the burglaries, as well as stolen weapons, cash, lottery tickets, alcohol, and a Tesla. Officials are urging anyone with information to contact the Fontana sheriff’s station or leave an anonymous tip.
The suspects’ crime spree, which began in late August, spanned multiple counties and involved the theft of various items from businesses. The collaboration between law enforcement agencies in different counties was essential in identifying and apprehending the individuals responsible for the burglaries.
