Brandeis San Dieguito Chapter Hosts Game Day Fundraiser in San Diego

The Brandeis San Dieguito Chapter will be hosting a Game Day fundraiser at The Vi in La Jolla on Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will support the “Sustaining the Mind Fund,” which funds neuroscience research at Brandeis University and scholarships for students in the sciences. The goal of the fund is to find a cure for neurological diseases.
Newcomers are welcome to attend the event, regardless of whether they are alumni of Brandeis University. Attendees can play games like Maj Jongg, bridge, Rummikub, Canasta, and Scrabble. A generous buffet lunch will be served, along with coffee and iced tea. Valet parking is available, but carpooling is encouraged.
The cost to attend the event is $45, with a $15.67 taxable deduction. The deadline to register is Oct. 15. Those interested in attending can contact arleneb5@yahoo.com for more information.
