Glendora High School’s football team showcased a dominant performance against Crespi in a 30-7 victory on September 27, 2024. Tim Johnson stood out with two touchdown passes and another score on the ground, reminiscent of his idol Deebo Samuel from the San Francisco 49ers. Glendora’s defense made a significant impact with interceptions from players like Anthony Fiorenza and Brandon Coronado.
Despite a strong offensive effort from Crespi, Glendora’s defense and the dynamic duo of Sebastian Lawrence and Tim Johnson proved to be too much for them to handle. Crespi, led by their quarterback Masyn Harvey, made some adjustments and found success with a touchdown pass from freshman Chase Curren to Cooper Howard.
Throughout the game, Glendora’s defense proved to be the backbone of their victory, with Nazir McGlothen and others recording key interceptions. The Tartans took advantage of opportunities and capitalized on turnovers to secure the win.
