The Burbank High football team demonstrated their offensive prowess in a dominant 46-10 win over Arcadia at Memorial Stadium. Led by sophomore quarterback Deshawn Laporte, who threw for 225 yards and three touchdowns, the Bulldogs spread their scoring to six different players. Coach Hector Valencia praised Laporte’s willingness to spread the ball around and make plays with his legs. Senior Joseph Caballero scored two touchdowns, while Elijah Pendleton contributed over 100 rushing and punt return yards. Tyler Hudson showcased his receiving skills with seven catches for 148 yards and a touchdown. Max Kelley and Ezekiel Alvarez also had notable performances, with Kelley adding a rushing touchdown and Alvarez making an interception. Valencia emphasized the team’s focus on establishing the run game early against Arcadia, and the strategy paid off with a convincing victory. The win showcased Burbank’s depth and playmaking ability on both sides of the ball.
