Alvin Kamara of the New Orleans Saints proved he is still a force to be reckoned with in the NFL after scoring four touchdowns in a 44-19 win against the Dallas Cowboys. This performance helped the Saints start the season 2-0, while the Cowboys fell to 1-1. Despite questions about his performance in recent years, Kamara has bounced back with strong showings in the first two games of the 2024 season. In the Week 1 victory over the Carolina Panthers, he rushed for 83 yards with a touchdown and caught five receptions. In the win against the Cowboys, Kamara accumulated 115 rushing yards and 57 yards receiving to lead the Saints to victory. This resurgence in form is a positive sign for the Saints as they look ahead to their Week 3 matchup against the Eagles. On the other hand, the Cowboys defense struggled against Kamara and the Saints’ offense, giving up 432 yards of total offense. Dak Prescott, who recently became the league’s highest-paid player, had a tough game with two interceptions in the loss. Overall, Kamara’s performance has silenced doubters and has shown that he still has plenty left in the tank.
