LOS ANGELES – In an intense weekend of college football, the 13th-ranked USC Trojans delivered a dominating 48-0 shutout victory over Utah State, showing focus and determination after a big win over LSU. Head coach Lincoln Riley praised his team’s readiness, emphasizing the importance of player motivation.
The USC defense performed exceptionally, holding Utah State to just 190 total yards and recording three sacks and one turnover. Linebacker Eric Gentry and safety Kamari Ramsey were standout players, contributing to the Trojans’ solid defensive effort.
On the offensive side, USC showcased a strong running game with running back Woody Marks leading the charge with 103 yards and a touchdown. The tight ends, Lake McRee and Kade Eldridge, were instrumental in the ground game, helping the team amass 249 rushing yards.

The Trojans are now 2-0 and will face Michigan on September 21 in their first-ever Big Ten game.
