Get ready to be scared senseless at Universal’s Horror Nights with the new Insidious maze that promises five final scares that will leave you trembling. The maze, based on the Insidious film franchise, will be part of the Halloween Horror Nights 2024 at Universal Studios Hollywood.
The maze, titled Insidious: The Further, will take attendees through the Red-Faced Demon’s lair and The Further, a netherworld between the living and the dead. With scenes from all the Insidious films, the maze features callbacks to the most terrifying moments from the franchise.
Director John Murdy promises a series of scares that will keep attendees on edge until the very end — with a final sequence of five terrifying encounters with demons like the Bride in Black and the KeyFace Demon. The Red-Faced Demon, the primary antagonist in the maze, will make several bone-chilling appearances.
The Insidious franchise, created by horror filmmaker James Wan, has been a massive success with five films released so far and a sixth installment set to hit theaters in 2025. The franchise has collectively earned over $700 million at the box office.
Other mazes featured at Halloween Horror Nights include attractions based on popular horror franchises like Saw and The Conjuring. The event will run from September 5 to November 3 at Universal Studios Hollywood, with separate admission required to attend. Attendees can also purchase Early Access Tickets, season passes, front-of-the-line passes, and VIP tours to enhance their experience at the event.
