Former Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has recently faced backlash after announcing the launch of her luxury lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, inspired by her life in Montecito. Royal expert Tom Quinn noted that Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, feel unfairly criticized and unable to understand why people don’t admire their work and luxurious lifestyle in the US. Despite this, Markle is reportedly still “excited” about the upcoming launch of American Riviera Orchard, featuring products like kitchenware, linens, and edible treats such as jams and spreads.
American Riviera Orchard is just one of Markle’s many upcoming projects, including a Netflix documentary, podcast, and initiatives aimed at supporting families impacted by cyberbullying. However, royal expert Hugo Vickers suggests that the couple’s busy schedule of new ventures may also be an attempt to stay in the public eye and maintain their brand.
