The 43rd Annual Wings Over Camarillo air show took place over the weekend, with a theme of “Saluting Test Pilots” to honor those who have contributed to aviation technology and safety. Visitors had the opportunity to meet veterans from various military backgrounds, listen to their stories, and pay tribute to their service and sacrifices. The show featured iconic planes like the Grumman F6F Hellcat, Japanese Zero, and PBJ-1J Mitchell Bomber B-25 flying in a spectacular display.

One of the highlights of the event was the performance by Aaron Fitzgerald, known for his aerobatics in the Red Bull Helicopter. Fitzgerald impressed the crowd with his unique flying skills, showcasing maneuvers that few in the world can execute. The airshow also included performances by the USAF Blue parachute team and the Condors squadron, as well as the thrilling Wall of Fire display.

Volunteers from the Southern California Wing of the Commemorative Air Force, EAA Chapter 723, and the Ventura County 99s organized and oversaw the event. The air show provided a platform for aviation enthusiasts to come together, celebrate the history of flight, and experience the excitement of seeing legendary planes and skilled pilots in action.
