AAUW Provides Fellowships and Community Grants in San Diego

The Del Mar-Leucadia branch of the American Association of University Women is currently accepting applications for its 2024-25 fellowships and grants for women pursuing academic work or leading innovative community projects to empower women and girls. Applications are due by Nov. 15, 2024, and women can find more information on available funding opportunities on the AAUW website.

In the previous year, AAUW awarded over $6 million to 285 fellows and grantees through the Fellowships and Grants program, setting a record. Since 1888, AAUW has been a leading funder of women’s graduate education, supporting women who have gone on to achieve success in various fields.

AAUW is a national organization dedicated to advancing equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research. Membership is open to all college graduates with an associate or higher degree, and the organization values and seeks a diverse membership.

The Del Mar-Leucadia Branch serves coastal San Diego communities and offers various monthly events and special interest groups for its members. New members are always welcome, and the branch also provides scholarships for local college students and supports programs like Tech Trek, a STEM camp for girls.

For more information on the AAUW fellowship and grant opportunities, as well as membership details, visit https://delmarleucadia-ca.aauw.net/ or contact Rebecca Hill at membership@aauwdml.org.
