Two Israeli air strikes targeted the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, killing at least four Palestinians. The strikes came after Israeli forces raided the area and claimed a money exchange shop was linked to Hamas. Clashes near Tubas also resulted in four Palestinian deaths after an Israeli raid prompted an armed confrontation. Fatah condemned the attacks as part of the Israeli “assassination policy” and called on the international community to intervene.
Witnesses recounted Israeli bulldozers and warplanes in the area moments before the strikes occurred, resulting in building destruction and casualties. The Palestinian Prisoner’s Society reported 16 arrests in various West Bank regions, bringing the total since October 7 to 9,970.
Fatah criticized the Israeli attacks as part of a systematic escalation seeking to eliminate Palestinian rights with American support. The group called for immediate action to stop the “war of extermination” against the Palestinian people. Local sources confirmed the presence of an undercover Israeli unit in Aqqaba, leading to armed confrontations.
The situation remains tense as Israeli forces continue to target Palestinian areas in the West Bank. The attacks have sparked condemnation from Palestinian groups and calls for international intervention to prevent further escalation and protect the rights of the Palestinian people.
