In men’s soccer, Spain will face France for the gold medal. On the beach volleyball court, Canada defeated the USA, while the American men’s team advanced. In other sports, the U.S. men’s basketball team faced Brazil in the quarterfinals, and medals were up for grabs in events like the men’s 1500-meter, men’s long jump, and park final in women’s skateboarding. There were also continued competitions in volleyball, table tennis, boxing, and handball. Tuesday’s highlight was the women’s 200-meter final, which took place at 3:40 p.m. ET.
