The bounce house had been set up at Regency Furniture Stadium to entertain kids during the game, but a gust of wind carried it over a wall and onto the field. The bounce house had been secured with stakes hammered into the ground. The Blue Crabs canceled all baseball activities and are offering support to those affected by the incident. The team extended their condolences to the family of the deceased child and expressed concern for the injured child. La Plata, the town the boy was from, is around 70 miles southwest of Baltimore and has a population of about 10,000.
