Daily News: Bob Baffert’s Horses Take Center Stage at Del Mar and Saratoga

Bob Baffert’s dominance in the world of horse racing was on full display this week with multiple high-profile races on the horizon. On Friday, Baffert’s Triple Crown winner Justify was set to be honored at the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in Saratoga Springs. Baffert himself is a Hall of Famer, and he has had several horses inducted as well.

On Saturday, Baffert was set to run the favorite in both the Whitney Stakes at Saratoga with National Treasure, and the Clement L. Hirsch Stakes at Del Mar with Adare Manor. National Treasure, currently ranked number one in the NTRA rankings, was coming off a strong win at the Metropolitan Handicap, while Adare Manor had recently won the Apple Blossom Handicap and Santa Margarita. Both horses were showing promising form heading into their respective races.

In addition to his current stars, Baffert was also quietly preparing a roster of 2-year-olds who could be the next standouts in his stable. With promising young horses like Cornucopian, Moona Lisa, and Nooni, Baffert’s success in the future looks bright. Despite a recent suspension from Churchill Downs, Baffert remained focused on his horses and their upcoming races.

As the summer racing season continued, all eyes were on Baffert and his talented stable of horses. With stars like National Treasure and Adare Manor leading the charge, and a promising group of 2-year-olds waiting in the wings, Baffert’s success in the world of horse racing seemed to be as strong as ever.
