An 83-year-old man named Patrick A. Bailey has been missing for a week after his flight home was canceled due to lingering issues from the Crowdstrike outage. Bailey had checked in for his flight at the Orlando International Airport on July 21, but never boarded the plane after the cancelation. He spent the night at a hotel and checked out the next morning, with no one hearing from him since. Patrick Bailey Jr., his son, mentioned that his father left his cell phone at the hotel and has not been reachable. Bailey Jr. also stated that his father was meant to fly back to California after visiting his sister in Florida. While it is possible that he took another airline, there has been no sign of him returning home. The Orlando Police Department is urging anyone with information on Bailey’s whereabouts to contact them.
