The 2024 Texas Innovation Invitational conference is set to take place in San Antonio from July 29 to 31, bringing together mobility leaders and advocates from across the state to discuss transportation and technology innovations. The event will feature discussions on safety, connectivity challenges, and traffic operations, as well as a tech showcase with exhibitors such as the Southwest Research Institute and UTSA’s Scooter Lab.
Speakers at the conference will include former U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Henry Cisneros and San Antonio District 4 City Councilwoman Adriana Rocha Garcia, who will address the link between transportation and the Texas economy. Regional teams will also have the opportunity to pitch their ideas for addressing transportation challenges to a panel of expert judges, with three winners receiving an award and the chance to secure $125,000 in grant funds from the Texas Department of Transportation.
