California athlete excels in two sports with Bees

Former Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School soccer star, Kenny Cunningham, has transitioned from the field to the world of investment banking in Los Angeles. Reflecting on his Ohio roots, Cunningham credits his success to his time at Internationals Soccer Club, where coaches instilled in him a sense of responsibility and a drive to excel. His high school career at BBHHS was marked by success in both soccer and basketball, with memorable moments on the court and field. Despite an athletic scholarship offer from Boston College, Cunningham chose to stay closer to home and attended Ohio State University, where he walked-on to the soccer team and became a key player during his collegiate career. After struggling with injuries, Cunningham now works in business development for an investment bank in California. He still enjoys playing soccer and has even crossed paths with Arnold Schwarzenegger at the gym. Looking back on his high school days with fondness, Cunningham is taking life one year at a time, unsure of where the future may lead him. His story serves as an inspiration to athletes looking to excel both on and off the field.
