Newly opened Iron Mountain Hot Springs features pools with global-inspired designs in Colorado | Lifestyle

Iron Mountain Hot Springs in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, has expanded its offerings to include 13 “inspired pools” that replicate famous hot springs from around the world. The pools feature mineral recipes intended to mimic the unique qualities of hot springs in various regions, such as Iceland, South Korea, Guatemala, and Italy. These pools are part of the new “WorldSprings” concept at Iron Mountain, which aims to provide visitors with a global hot springs experience.

The expansion includes a 21-and-older section with a dedicated cafe offering cocktails, smoothies, and food. Founder Steve Beckley now oversees a total of 32 pools at the destination, with plans for further expansion in the future. The goal of WorldSprings is to create a social and wellness experience that brings the hot spring experience to cities across the U.S.

Feedback from visitors has played a key role in shaping the expansion, with new pools added to accommodate requests for more space and amenities. Reservations are required to manage crowding, and visitors can enjoy three-hour slots at the facility for $59. Plans for future expansions include more pools, private cabanas by the river, and a larger cold plunge pool.

Overall, the addition of the WorldSprings concept at Iron Mountain Hot Springs offers visitors a unique and diverse hot springs experience, allowing them to soak in waters that replicate the mineral compositions of famous hot springs from around the globe.
